Perna is an edible shellfish from the pristine waters of New Zealand. The common name for Perna Canaliculus is Green-Lipped Mussel.

Perna contains high concentrations of glucosaminoglycans (glucosamines) chondroitin sulfates naturally chelated minerals numerous enzymes amino acids vitamins and nucleic acids (RNA &DNA). Included in the glucosaminoglycans are all 9 classes of the glucosamines that naturally occur in our bodies. This makes Perna a most unique source of the building blocks of our connective tissues. Perna can help maintain and repair any of the connective tissues of our bodies even the skin and our joints making it a great choice for arthritis and other connective tissue problems.
