High levels of folic acid have been proven to reduce plasma homocysteine levels
A serving of 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of Cardol taken twice daily, with meals, provides 1.3 g. of plant sterol esters, which studies show may reduce the risk of heart disease

There is a strong association between raised homocysteine levels and an increase is linked to the deficiency of the B vitamins, Folic acid and B12.
FDA approved statement: A daily intake of at least 1.3g. of plant sterol esters, in two meals, may reduce the risk of heart disease when part of a diet low in saturated fat in cholesterol.

Typically, per 5ml:
Folic Acid: 1,000 mcg.
Vitamin B12: 1,000 mcg.
(as cyanocobalamin)
Plant sterol esters: 650 mg.
(provided as vegetable oil)
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA): 300 mg.
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA): 210 mg.
Total Omega- 3: 1,400 mg.
(DHA, EPA & other omega- 3's
provided as pure fish oil)
Natural mixded tocopherols: 50 mg.
CoQ10: 20 mg.

Recommended Intake: One teaspoon (5ml) to be taken twice daily with a meal or as professionally directed.
Can be taken in water or juice, or directly into the mouth.

Contra- Indications: None known if recommended intake is followed.
