Fractionated Pectin Powder
This water- soluble form of pectin, unlike others available on the market, is processed without the use of acetone, ethyl alcohol, or ether. The galactose residues in fractionated pectin bind to lectins on cell membranes, preventing attachment of unwanted cells. Thorne's patented Modified Citrus Pectin is provided in both powder and capsule forms. Protected under U.S. Patent No. 5,498, 702.
